Weighted Options

Weighted options allow you to choose how likely a particular option's value is to be used in game generation. The higher a value is weighted, the more likely the option will be chosen. Think of them like entries in a raffle.

Choose the options you would like to play with! You may generate a single-player game from this page, or download an options file you can use to participate in a MultiWorld.

Game Options

Progression Balancing

A system that can move progression earlier, to try and prevent the player from getting stuck and bored early. A lower setting means more getting stuck. A higher setting means less getting stuck.
This is a range option.

Accepted values:
Normal range: 0 - 99

The following values have special meanings, and may fall outside the normal range.
  • 0: Disabled
  • 50: Normal
  • 99: Extreme

Accessibility

Set rules for reachability of your items/locations. **Full:** ensure everything can be reached and acquired. **Minimal:** ensure what is needed to reach your goal can be acquired.

Fork Location

Choose where the Fork(weapon) location is set. Does nothing if [Allow Forkless] option is enabled. - Shuffled Early Local: Forces Fork location to be somewhere early in your own game. - Shuffled Early Global: Forces Fork location to be somewhere early in any game. - Vanilla Location: Forces Fork to be placed at its intended location.

Allow Forkless

If enabled, allows for the Fork to not be required early on, meaning you may have to play some amount of the game without it. Ignores [Fork Location] option and shuffles Fork into item pool if enabled. - Disabled: Fork is required to fight early bosses, meaning that it will be placed early in your run. - Forkless Easy: Ensures that the intended forkless strategy is not too advanced (Includes logic for adaptation and shellspell focused builds) - Forkless Hard: Allows for the possibility of more advanced forkless strategies to be necessary (Includes logic for rolling attack and summon focused builds)

Logic Rules

Set the preferred logic rules for your game - Vanilla: Standard logic, no skips/glitches required to complete the goal. - Glitchless: Allows for the following parkour-based skips (list of glitchless rules here) to be required to complete the goal. - Restricted: In addition to the list under glitchless, allows for (list of easy glitches/skips here) to be required to complete the goal. - Unrestricted: In addition to the lists under both glitchless and restricted, allows for (list of hard glitches/skips here) to be required to complete the goal.

Shelleport Location

Choose where the Shelleport (fast travel) skill location is set - Shuffled: Shelleport is placed into the item pool. - Shuffled Early Local: Forces Shelleport location to be somewhere early in your own game. - Shuffled Early Global: Forces Shelleport location to somewhere early in any game. - Starting Items: Places Shelleport in your starting inventory. - Vanilla Location: Forces Shelleport to be placed at its intended location
