Burger Shop
What does randomization do to this game?
All recipes, powerups, and stages are included in the item pool. What makes Burger Shop unique is that a majority of these items are food recipes which make the game more difficult, and will be labeled as trap items in the item pool.
- Food items and recipes — burgers, chicken sandwiches, sides, drinks, sundaes, shakes, snack trays, salad ingredients, and condiments are locked until received. Customer orders update in real-time to only include unlocked recipes, so customers will never ask for something you haven't found yet.
- Level access is gated by Progressive Burger Shop keys. The first 10 levels are always accessible; each key received unlocks the next 10. Reaching the Alien chapter (levels 71–80) additionally requires the three Alien food items.
- Workstation, BurgerBot, and Cookies are items in the pool that must be found before they can be used.
- Powerups (Cookie, Speed, Happy, Money) are individual items. Each powerup will be available in all levels once it is unlocked.
- Progressive Salad unlocks one additional salad ingredient per copy received, in a fixed order (Lettuce, Tomato, Onion, Olives, Croutons).
What is the goal when randomized?
Beat the final Story Mode level. This requires all 7 Progressive Burger Shop keys and the three Alien food items (Triple Bacon Cheeseburger, Ranch Dressing, Large Lemon Lime Soda).
Which items can be in another player's world?
- Progressive Burger Shop (7 copies) — level access keys
- Food items — all burger, chicken sandwich, side, drink, sundae, shake, snack tray, and condiment recipes
- Progressive Salad (5 copies) — each copy unlocks one more salad ingredient
- Gameplay upgrades — Workstation, BurgerBot, Cookies, Cookie Powerup, Speed Powerup, Happy Powerup, Money Powerup
- Filler — Lucky Penny (and bonus recipes when the Bonus Recipes option is enabled)
What does another world's item look like in Burger Shop?
The Archipelago client window shows a notification whenever an item is received. Customer orders update automatically — starting or restarting a level will reflect any newly unlocked recipes. Powerup changes take effect immediately without requiring a level restart.
